Looking at booking some private charters to dive or snorkel along the way. We are 3 sister that scuba dive plus a fiancé that's newly qualified.
We have found a private charter from Airlie Beach/Whitsundays to go diving/snorkelling. The boat takes up to max 10, includes lunch and snorkelling equipment. Diving is 45$Aus extra.
Obviously the more people, the cheaper the overall breakdown. For example, for 8 people the cost for the charter works out about £130 each, which is considerably cheaper than £300 for a ship excursion.
