Hi Linda -- We are Kathleen and Chris and will be sailing with you from Rome to Athens, then on to Istanbul. Our pre-cruise plans got blown up by DH's shoulder surgery, but luckily we were able to salvage the cruise itself. Can't wait! We haven't been able to book a Pompeii or Herculaneum tour and are considering trying to do something privately to Herculaneum. We've loved our 2 Viking Ocean cruises -- Caribbean and a Trans Atlantic repositioning cruise. We tried river once, but prefer the ocean ships.
