We are doing the pre-Rome for 2 nights (April 30) cruising to Barcelona! So excited!
Exactly what we are doing.We’re doing pre-Rome for 2 nights (April 30) and cruising to Barcelona. May 1 is a holiday in Rome and most everything is closed so we plan on doing an early morning tour on Tuesday (May 2) before going to the ship.
Do you know what time the transfer to the ship is? We are doing this extension and may be interested in doing an early tour also.We’re doing pre-Rome for 2 nights (April 30) and cruising to Barcelona. According to our travel agent, the pickup is in the morning (maybe 9 am?). She asked Viking for a later pickup and was told no. We’re looking at an early Vatican tour (7:30 am) but it hasn’t been finalized yet. We did schedule a private transfer from Rome to the ship through Viator. Viator does have the Colosseum tour available on May 1.Do you know what time the transfer to the ship is? We are doing this extension and may be interested in doing an early tour also.
We are doing a morning tour of the Vatican, St. Peters & Sistine Chapel, on Tues, 5/2, before heading to the ship.
I’ve explored several options about transfer to the port from Rome & leaning toward the train from Termini Station to the port. Have not made any reservations yet, am going to wait until we arrive in Rome to decide.
