Christmas on the Danube Dec 17, 2022 Budapest to Regensburg

My first as well. I did set up a Facebook group for our trip. There are a few of us on there but we haven’t found more.
 
We will be on this cruise with pre extension in Budapest and post in Nuremberg/Prague. Our fifth cruise. So a big hello to all!

Do not overpack and leave unnecessary valuables at home. Weare one set of jewelry that will go with everything. Get a neck pouch for your passport,phone,cards and other necessary valuables. One of the nice thing on a Christmas cruise is you are always wearing a coat when out so you do not look funny with a holder hanging down under that coat. But your personals are safe.
 
We usually book ours. You can always cancel but many times cannot get a space if not pre booked. Do check on refunds for paid excursions if you are not sure if you want to go. Policy changes all the time. We have never been disappointed in a paid or included excursion yet. If it is just a walking tour from the boat you can always leave and go on your own. ( do not forget to check out with your guide) No matter what you are free to do what you want while docked. Just be back by sailing time. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
