My daughter and I are going down the Seine on October 9th with a pre trip in the Loire. Both of us lived in France for a period of time so this will be a memory trip with new sites. My daughter’s first language is French so I will be acting as a mute
as I have lost my conversational French. This will be the first time we have travelled together since she was married, so am happy to be sharing time with her on this journey.
My spouse and I did the Amsterdam to Basel with an extension to Zurich - it was amazing and fun. Did it in October as well and only had a few days of rain which happened to be in Zurich! My spouse is not able to travel long distances anymore so hopefully my daughter and I can do other trips like this again.
