Hello! This will be our mother-daughter first Viking Cruise - a bucket list item for sure!!
We are very excited to go and explore Europe and the Christmas markets. We hail from Northern California and are counting down the days!!
We have never been on Viking and never been to Europe in the “winter”, any input on what to bring for the rooms (we are just in a basic room) or for daily “adventures” is appreciated. As well as any unique “things to know” that we should be aware of or ready to expect from a river cruise…we have done many ocean cruises and know this will be different
We are flying in a couple days early to Basel-and are looking for a place to stat for the night - does anyone have any recommendations? We used the free airfare from Viking and wondering about upgrading to Viking Plus??
