I’m on this one but do not see a lot talked about.Looking forward to this cruise. Also extending it by taking a smaller ship further up the Amazon.

What do you want to know? There is a Cruise Critic Roll Call for this cruise. A few people are on it but it hasn't been too active yet.Do you know anything about this cruise

Been researching this cruise since last May. Bring lightweight quick drying long sleeve shirts and long pants for going ashore in the Amazon. It will be hot and very very humid with little wind. Bring insect repellent for going ashore. The Sea anchors in Manaus. The cruise ship dock was damaged by flooding. If you do not have a Viking airport transfer or post cruise hotel, then you have to get your own luggage off the ship. Pre-book your ship to airport transfer as hailing a taxi at the port can be dicey. The 2 previous cruises were not able to stop in French Guiana due to seas making tendering dangerous. There will be a wide array of insects on the outside decks in the early morning. The Aquavit Terrace infinity pool and hot tub will be drained as open water attracts insects. On the Cruise critic roll call for the first sailing on January 6 and on FB group called Viking Cruises Travelers. Steve Mengelt posted fabulous photos, descriptions of excursions they took and kindly answered questions.Thanks for all this info. Surprised Viking didn’t put out some of this information. Where did you find all this out?

Oh and Viking administrative office has no clue of what happens on the ships
